I know I am taking a chance with posting about Elaine Morgan at Real Metrix but because I believe in doing what is right, I am going to take the risk.
When faced with a so called "Non-Payer", I get frustrated and even mad and am reminded how sick and tired I am with having to beg for money that is owed to me. I have been doing this for 26 years and no matter what we do, we always run the risk of being stiffed. I do, however, try to remember that it is the owner that is directing payment to the vendors, not the vendor manager. I have spoken with Anthony myself regarding payment and he made a promise to me that he would get us paid and he would be available for a call I was to make to him. He then went back on his word and avoided my calls. That was last summer and we still have not been paid. An obedient employee will do what he/she is told to do as long as it is honest and ethical. Elaine has never lied nor was she unethical to anyone. She was merely passing the words of her employer on to the vendors. She is about the most honest person you could ever know and for as much as all of the vendors are frustrated, she herself has been faced with the stress that comes with the troubles her employer has created. She has been made to look responsible for the problems caused by him. I hope that before anyone posts comments about an employee, they take into consideration how much they negatively impact their reputation. We have all worked in places that we regret, but that should not have to negatively effect our reputation. I'm sure she would like nothing more than to make everyone whole and move on but this is not within her control.
