I appreciate your desire to help, but hon, we are WAY WAY past that point.  We HAD blue cross.  Liked it just fine.  But when Obamacare was implemented, our rates tripled.  And we make too much money to get a break anywhere.  My husband is a diabetic and we are in our early 60's.  We HAVE found health care, but believe me, it wasn't easy and it isn't cheap.  10 years ago, we were paying something like $350/mth for the both of us.  Under the new rules mandated because of Obamacare, our rates with Blue Cross topped $1500 AND we had a $15,000 deductible. 

 And I have no idea what you mean about "going direct."  Going direct to WHAT?
