Wondering if asking them for their FIN and licensing for each state that they are requesting fees in will slow them down, since if they don't have both then they can not legally work in those states if they are a title company.

Now Missouri and Kansas requires abstractors to be licensed so if they are not then they cannot legally work in those states as well as other states that require abstractors to be licensed.
