Please remember the American Land Title Association is a trade association and had no legal ability to force it ideas on the Federal Government, State Government, Banks, Lending institutions, Title companies, Abstractors or Notary's. I say this as it is the truth. You own your business and you get to decide if you want to do this. When companies ask me for crazy requests, I have a choice as to if I want to comply. I have told the largest companies in America, No and they still send me business. It is not legally required by any government agency. It may be a good idea as the owner to know info about your staff but if it is required once a year, the info is useless the next day as anyone could drop there car insurance, lose there license, get arrested, get convicted of a crime and you would not know until a year later. It is my belief that many companies requiring this do so to make money. Good Luck and God Bless
