Frankly, I worry about all-digital currency. What happens if the power goes out? Or the power grid? What happens if the system is hacked? Cyber crime and cyber spying aren't going away anytime soon. As long as someone has a computer and the requisite programming/hacking ability and wants money, it beats robbing a bank. No gun, no blood, no witnesses...just throw away the computer once you're done.
FWIW, I'm also against bitcoin - I don't see any reason to trust someone working that stall at all. Complete strangers, anonymous, un-regulated, un-regulatable and, given the experience they had over a year ago, those who held on to their stash lost a tremendous amount of money, both "legal tender" and bitcoin.
