Thanks for the link James. The author makes a good case for the convenience of digital money. He points out that digital transfers are gaining rapidly and cash is disappearing in Sweden. He makes it sound inevitable as the first choice for consumers. But if it's inevitable,  why would any government think it necessary to force this on their citizens?
