I think I read somewhere that disclosure was indeed required but has been routinely ignored by the title industry. I believe Americans have a right to know who is handling using, abusing or trafficking in our information.

I believe most would prefer to work with American abstractors who live and work in the areas they serve if they are given a chance to make an informed decision. Consumers have this right when it involves food, clothing and other products. Even pet food has to carry a label naming the country where it was produced.
