That is a great question Leigh and worth posing to the E&O and insurance companies. As far as licensing goes, there are a handful of States that do require this. This year, the Association will be reaching out to these States for guidelines and suggestions. NALTEA does offer a certification program and plans to expand this program in the near future. If more boots on the ground examiners and abstractors chose to obtain this certification it would strengthen the accreditation for all of us.
