I disagree. I work hard, but refuse to work non stop. Everyone deserves a lunch break, titles can wait. The greed in the 80's and 90's caused the prices to rise to high for a title search. The Indian's came and offered lower prices and now we are all stuck with the result. If a reasonable pricing was offered in the beginning then we wouldn't be in this mess.
As for sharing or regulating the title abstract industry, Why would we agree to this? Why so I can pay fees to join programs, like NALTA, which offers me nothing. I have done title in about 6 states and have had title abstractors open my briefcase in order too steal my clients, no way I want help from another examiner.
