I belonged many years ago.   My name/company never made the list of abstractors in promotional materials.  My emails were ignored.   The member quote I got for E&O  was more than I was paying. As I derived zero benefit for my subscription, I did not renew.

I like the idea of reasonably priced/free classes.  I have long wished for certification requirements for abstractors in Louisiana.  Lobbying efforts toward that end would be beneficial.   And a real decrease in cost of E&O options would  also be helpful.
