I have read this chain of posts and wanted to say that I worked with Global for a very short period of time. They did pay me and I believe it was only because Ben fought to get a check to me. When I started working for them, Ben was upfront about their financial situation, I chose to give them a chance. When I realized it was a hassle, I stopped doing their work. I believe this is a two sided street. If your bill got up to $10 k, the responsibility then falls on you as the abstractor because you didn't have to keep doing their work.

Just like Ben is saying he believed the owners when they said they would pay, so did you believe you would be paid so you continued doing work for them.

Sorry if this is so blunt but I see a lot of blaming Ben...I do believe he did what he could
