Update:  Land Coast Title is still dodging my emails and phone calls.  I checked some of the files and First Title & Escrow in Maryland and Virginia have done all of these closings (on behalf of FNMA.)  They are a legitimate company, so I don't want anyone to think I am implicating them in any way.  I emailed their info email address, but if any of you have a contact there, you may want to give them a heads up, just in case.  I know I wouldn't want to associated with someone like this.
