I would guess that a bankruptcy is unlikely. There isn't usually a need to file bankruptcy if the corporation is out of business. Bankruptcy may provide a benefit if they were intending to reorganize and continue with operations, but why spend the money on bankruptcy otherwise?
If the shareholders have no personal liability, why not just lock the doors and walk away?
I feel bad for everyone who was stuck with unpaid bills. Abstractors really need to come up with good way to prevent this from happening, again and again and again...
