I can definitely understand those concerns firsthand.
I was employed by a major title company, that lots of the abstractors on here worked for, and ended up training my offshore replacements (in India, the Philippines, and China) over the course of time before being laid off as the company was sold for the fourth time. Happy to provide more details, if that will help allay concerns.
That's why I'd never, ever involve myself with an offshore company that had a virtual office in the States and claimed to be US-based. I was burned too.
String is legit, we're in the US, and we pay in a timely way.
Any other concerns that I can address?
I'm available during normal business hours (EST) via email or phone, if you have more questions or concerns.
