I unfortunately know a few (fly by night wanna be) abstractors in MD who would actually do it for this price. They are one of the reason these companies do this to us. I wouldn't do a current owner for $30.00 let alone include all the copies. Even if I print copies from my office I am paying for the time I pay my employees, ink & paper. Copies are not free by any means and judgment or Civil copies are certainly not free from the courthouses. If we all could only stick together... but like any thing else, there's always a few bad apples out there willing to stick it to the rest of us. I still will not give in though. I am reasonably priced & I'm not lowering my pricing for anyone. I do the work, I need to be paid.
