The county I work in in Ohio also has replaced our computer system. It has been about 16 months

now. Obviously the recorder never has done a title search. We have had nothing but problems

from day one. I believe we have all been very patient . But as of recently we are loosing our

patience. This new system has slowed down our turn around time significantly . When asking

the recorder about this new system, he gets very defensive . I was told by the recorder, I

do not have to supply you with anything. This is not your office. I understand it is not my

office. But it is not the recorders office either. This office is owned by the Tax Payers. It is

a shame voters are not normally effected by the Recorders office. So when elections come

around they do not pay much attention when voting for this office. We were I guess spoiled

from previous Recorders who who would ask our opinion and input when changes were to

be made in the office.  They just don't understand this is messing with our ability to earn a living,

I just do't know what purpose this outlook serves.
