I think the "India Issue" is much ado about nothing. A short lived trend that was dependent on Title Plants and Online searches. The only type of real title work you can do that way is Re-fi's & Current Owner searches. The old adage is "you get what you pay for" & I think the companies that use these off-shore companies understand they are getting a cut-rate search for a cut-rate price. They are probably depending on an earlier full-search or Title Insurance policy and just using the "Indians" for a "bring down / update". There are too few Counties (if any) that you can complete a competent 40-60 year search completely online or using a title plant.
