I think Kevin raises a good point on the NALTEA certification issue. When a NALTEA member is licensed to pratice law, they probably should be exempt from the NALTEA certification. My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that certification would be optional, although I think it's a pretty good idea to do so. I'll be intrested to here more on the certification at the conference. I believe that the test will be somewhat broad in content and some parts may not apply to your particular state or area. Maybe someone could shed some more light on this. I'am also a licensed real estate agent also. The test was based both on the National level and part on the State level. There were parts on the National test that didn't apply to this state however you still had to pass these sections.
