I wouldn't walk out my front for that fee.

This is where we must all ban together and take a stand!  Our work is worth more than that.  We have expenses too.  I don't want to bust my azz for someone else to pad their wallet!

And isn't our quality of work worth more than that!  This is how the in-experienced abstractors get their clients.  They take anything and think they are doing good and they don't realize how much it is hurting everyone else.

And yes, the HUD's are crazy.  $150 for title search fee, (we charge 40-60) $300-$500 for closing cost signing fee (we charge $50-100) and then the binder/committment typing fee.  All a bunch of junk to let someone make more money.  They can all afford to pay us what we are worth!
