Great computer, but at that size, it sounds more like a desktop laptop than one you want to drag around from location to location. You can find great reconditioned laptops at ubid.com. Personally, I like IBM's and there are some smaller, lighter weight ones you can pick up for under $600.
As for the printer, sound fine, but all docs draw for loan purposes have to be in LASER not inkjet. So, if you are just printing for yourself and aren't ever going to print out loan docs, a inkjet will probably be ok. Laser toner seems to last longer than inkjet cartridges.
I know that Sprint covers a large area for wireless access. Typically runs about $75 per month for unlimited use. You may want to check that out. That type of wireless modem is different than the modem you use for a wireless network. In most cases, if you are a new subscriber to a service, you can get the card for a discount or $00.00. Otherwise, cards run about $150, a little higher for a top of the line card. Get the best and fastest when it comes to this because it is better to pay a little more now than get an older modem card that becomes obsolete in a couple of ...months.
