David I guess we all just get tied up with our everyday lives and hope that the worst will not happen. Unfortunately there never seems to be money to address the problems... like bad roads, levee's etc. It is funny about earthquakes... when you have been through a lot of them like we have you can tell by the rumble that precedes the shaking if it is going to be one we need to take cover for. Not being a native CA I have experienced both tornado's and hurricanes and I wish that science could come up with an early warning for earthquakes.
