I would disagree... the documents themselves may be very similar, but the real estate laws do vary significantly from state to state. Some states may be similar, but there are big differences between many states.
I have had many out of state clients that I have had trouble with because they do not understand the differences. There are differences in dower, foreclosure processes, title vesting, witness and notary requirements, lien terms, etc.
I would especially be concerned about the differences in Louisiana since their laws are based on French law, as opposed to the English law that is the basis for most of the states. I couldn't say "how different" but I would never dream of picking up and moving to Louisiana and expecting to work without getting some local training and experience first.
