Virginia:

Justice Dept liens are filed just like any other lien- they just represent monies owed to the Federal Government instead of to a local entity. They are filed in the clerk's office of the county the property is located in just like any other lien that would attach to real property. They don't show up very often so there just might not be any for the property you are searching also.
