I think the AIP is a bit more than nutty. In fact the speaker pays homage to the founder of the AIP....who is quoted as having said "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government... and I won't be buried under their damn flag. " The speaker goes on to talk of Palin , and refers to Alaska as the "Coldest State with the hottest governor." Consequently, I would have to think of it as a recent statement made while she was Governor.
If you look at the video the speaker ( Vice Chairman of the AIP) references the American Servicemen stationed in Alaska at the time of the vote to become a state as an "Army of Occupation". He also indicated that several of the more fervent member of the AIP are seeking independence in the World Court. We use prior inconsistent statements at trial to impeach the credibility of the later statement. As such the AIP's denial is little more than a self serving statement to advance their agenda. In view of Palin's attendance at their conventions, her addresses to the AIP's conventions, her husband's 7 year membership in the party and the AIP's agenda to infiltrate other more established parties.... I think some inquiry is required into his allegation that she went along to get along and Palin's position thereto. So Far her silence is deafening.
If you feel that Obama's association with Wright is in question...I would have no problem with that also being the subject of inquiry.
Yes, I did get your citation. I will be back to you shortly with a response.
