Yes, I did tell you to review your high school civics notes. Sounds like you still have not done your homework. It related to your statement concerning the air national guard being our first line of defense and the proximity of Alaska to Russia. I assume that you are implying that Palin would have something to do with activating the guard for national defense independently or in contrast to a federal activation. Please read Perpich V. DOD, Supra. which Scott has cited. The case is squarely against this proposition. I am still waiting for Scott to cite the page upon which he relies for his position.
Speech control? Where in the Constitution do you find that. You are confusing speech control with freedom of speech. If you feel intimidated by your perception of politically correct it is really your problem and no one else's. Learn to cope with it. If you have correctly cited Hillary's position...thank god she did not get the nomination.
With respect to the selection process to the presidency of the Harvard Law Review...please enlighten us with your view of the selection process. I am talking about the Law Review specifically. I expect verifiable, personal first hand knowledge...not the hearsay of what someone in the grapevine told you.
As usual in your earlier post you seem to want to lay off Bush's short comings on the previous administration, but no matter how much you like to tap dance around the issue and point the finger at someone else to divert blame....the fact remains that your man,Bush, was in the driver's seat for the past eight years. If he perceived a problem from the previous administration which would come to fruition during his administration, he had ample opportunity to rectify it. Now we have America's favorite old fart and the beauty queen running for office, and you expect people to believe that it is going to be different from the previous eight years. Sorry, that is a no sale.
