This seems to speak as if diversity and inclusion are bad. Protest activites are bad. Helping the country put prejudice and -isms behind us is bad. Staffing Aids clinics, helping the poor, doing volunteer work, working for the community is bad. Teaching slackers and our unmotivated youth they can make a difference is bad. Seems like this is the work we are all called to do. Let's call Jesus a radical Socialist. Those who do nothing sneer in contempt at those who do.
Does the writer of this article do anything for others? I hear hate , intolerance, and cynical resignation. How sad.
We sit and whine, condemn and spin. When you want to make something bad, you call it Red. Call it Mccarthyism. Call it Socialism. Educated individuals know so called socialist principles are 'of the people, for the people', and working together for the common good. It is only the way some twisted the priciples which made it bad. The health care industry has spent a fortune convincing us free health care for all is "socialized medicaine" instead of a right . The police and firefighters are provided by our taxes, just like healthecare is in every other civilized country in the world. Here we dare to make money on those who are sick. We spin universal healthcare Red, people die, and we allow that to contunue.. Does a firefighter ask for your insurance card when your house in on fire? A child faces sure and certain death and the parent sare asked will that be cash or credit.
Are you buying this? Do you get how screwed this country has been by the Republican agenda? Unemployment, housing, the economy, war. We are so far in the crapper we need a strong leader, a motivating force, a new direction, and a leader who can shake things up and motivate the masses like never before. Mccain can not do that. He can't speak. He is also a hothead. Did you know he was on a dilpomatic mission to Afghanistan, got pissed off about something, and leaned across the table to grab a guy by the lapels and lifted him out of his seat? You want that finger on the button, or his lovely VP choice Vanna? His nickname in DC is the White Tornado, for the unpredictable anger, you never know when he is going to blow and smash. We have one of the most brillian minds in the country, a constituional law specialist, versus a rich Republican who is part of the system which feeds the rich and screws the rest.
I guess you agree with this anti-social writer then , Scott. A program to help youth and community was spun in a negative light and made anti-Obama.The good potential and possibilites it brought were slandered and twisted, and made to look bad. It is a shame the way negative spin speaks to the cynical hearts of so many ..
