Michael - I agree with all your points!  Another problem with the Dems is that Johnson tried to fight a politiclaly correct war in Vietnam and it did not succeed.  Unfortunately, the Dems still want to fight poltically correct wars.  Wars are NOT politically correct and cannot be successful unless we go in and, to use your word, terminate the enemy.  All a politically correct war does is generate a waste of many many lives merely for political correctness.  Our enemy is not waging a politically correct war - they are waging a war at any cost, including their homicidal (not suicide) bombers.
