Dan, you have no reason to apologize. I think Nxt Gen. is over reacting. A more appropriate way to handle it would have been for them to contact you with the new address information so that you could come back to us and relay the new info. Or, Nxt Gen could have made a post stating they are moving and here is our new address. I think they sound a bit shady that they don't want an old adress shown. Why is that????
To Nxt Gen - Nope, no confusion on our part, just yours. In case I am mistaken, but I believe not, a PO box or street mailing address is public record and as stated before easily found. The fact that you are "moving our physical office location" shouldn't really matter. At the time of the posting was the address Dan showed the correct one or did you just fail to correct that information on the order or inquiry you sent/made to him?
In Ohio, I do believe but could be wrong, PO Boxes are held at the post office or some sort of mail service like the UPS Store. Are you saying that the mail addressed to P.O. Box comes to your "physical location"?? Either way it really doesn't matter because you once upon a time you were at or held a box with that address. Did you not???
Normally, companies will post a notice that they are moving and notate the day the old address will cease and the new one takes over. Did you even offer up a new address for Dan to use?? Apparently not. Just a repirmand from the sound of it. I think a more appropriate response would have been to request that Dan add the new address to the post or you could have done that your selves.
This blog is intended to be used by all as a way of keeping track of what is going on in the industry. As you saw it carries a lot of dead beat warnings but there are also some very interesting topics that are off the beaten trail. In this case Dan was looking for information about a company asking for his assistance. I think Dan was doing what he should be doing and trying to get some feed back, good bad or ugly. In this day and age we have to protect ourselves. Asking for peoples opinions regarding others is just one way to do it.
