Just to clear things up- are the searches you do for this company residential or commercial? If commercial , which would put them in a much higher fee bracket, have you thought about filing liens on the property owners or written to them , advising of the failure of this company to pay for the searches? While liens for abstractors may not be the way to go, it sure would enlighten the owners they have been spoofed too. The web site for this company is nice- just is not truthful about the fact that they don't pay their abstractors.
I am glad you have brought this to our attention here on SOT since many of us are grabbing on to any opportunity to make some money- except in this case- "LOSE" money and time to a company such as this.
