In my travels yesterday a fellow abstractor was going off on the incompetence of one of his customers. I told him about my posting on it and he made an interesting statement. "We hire the incompetent, train them, put up with them, don't fire them, don't take issue with an incompetent waitress, store clerk, doctor's receptionist, etc. In fact we put up with it, we accept it now as a way of life... we are the guilty ones.... we are the incompetent ... we gave accepted complacency in every walk of life.... he called the customer back....told them they were fired. You gotta love it.
