Hi Donna -
Try to get a hold of Linda Morano, her email is: lindam@financialdimensions.com
I don't recall her extension, so I imagine you could call and ask for her. As far as I know she was the last person taking care of payments. I had a couple past due invoices with them, and she did get them taken care for me. I hope that helps!
And George, I must say it gets annoying to have you constantly nit-pick business practices that other abstractors have. I get that you think you have it all figured out, but sometimes (fill in the blank) happens.
I took over this company 10 years ago, and some of the customers I "inherited" in the process. I realize its 10 years later, however some of these companies (like Financial Dimensions and NRE) had been good paying, reliable customers for the last DECADE. Then suddenly this year - the problems begin (slowly, might I add). I always start calling and emailing people after 30 days goes by. However by then you usually have one past due invoice, and another invoice for the work you just did that month. Sometimes you find the right person to talk to and get the money. Other times you have to work for it.
I think this situation could easily happen to anyone in this business. You have to understand that sometimes all the contracts, agreements, promises, and fees written in 30 font, bold, underlined print on the front of your search - won't save you from (fill in the blank) happening. You just have to ask yourself, if its your money - how bad do you want it? And can you use your bad luck to help others? Before pointing your finger and firing shots, put yourself in someone else's shoes
