Sorry for the delay, but I finally had a chance to review the case. I don't think that it extends the life of a judgment. The Court only held that a suit to enforce a judgment must be brought within the life of the judgment. It looks like it was brought within that time in this case, but it wasn't decided until after the 10 year period ran.
An examiner should find any pending suits in the course of a title search and should be able to determine if a suit is brought within the allowed time.
