Ya, I know it's hard to state the truth that any good business person would have checked on.  Half of  those that have "trouble" could have prevented it by "doing the basics" prior to jumping in to get the quick work.  How many others, banks, cell ph company, would do business with anyone w/o knowing the customer's name?   Persons in the abstracting business should conduct themselves as business persons.  I have seen business forms asking for "address", wherein it says NO PO BOXES, only a real locatable physical location where you can BE FOUND.
