We typically charge $25 for a mortgage, and $35 for a deed (or deed and mortgage). We may charge a nominal extra fee for additional documents, such as affidavits, memorandums, etc. We also charge an extra $5.00 if we have to type the conveyance form; one of our counties requires it and several clients still send us handwritten forms.
