As many of you know, I was very sick over the past couple of years, with heart and kidney failure. Your kind wishes and messages were much appreciated.
I am back at work, walking on my own and able to see again )sufficiently well). I still do dialysis at home nightly, but am down to a single daily blood pressure pill, so life is MUCH better.
All of this has got me thinking about my mark on the world. Running an honest business that help its' people put food on their tables is rewarding but hardly enough. Occassional donations or volunteerism is nice, but unlikely to "change the world".
Therefor I have tied my interests in public records, history and civics to a new peducation project which I started yesterday:
SIX GENERATION PROJECT is a not-for-profit effort to educate children and adults about civics and history through the lens of their own family heritage. By studying and researching their ancestors over the pas 6 generations, they will discover the excitement and mystery of the passt; they will come to appreciate the trials and tribulations of their forebearers in new and thrilling ways.
I don't know how to do all of this alone, so I invite you, my title and abstractor friends to pitch in and become a part of something bigger. Thank you aal, again.
