ALTA Awards NTP Designation to North Dakota Title Pro
press release

Tim L. Pearson has been awarded a National Title Professional (NTP) designation from the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the national trade association of the land title insurance industry. Pearson joins 50 other industry leaders from around the United States who have earned the professional designation.

The designation recognizes land title professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience and dedication essential to the safe and efficient transfer of real property.*

“I applaud Tim’s professionalism and extensive knowledge of the land title insurance industry,” said ALTA President John M. Hollenbeck NTP. ”His work ethic and dedication to the future of the industry make him a much-deserved recipient of a National Title Professional designation. I encourage other North Dakota land title insurance professionals to follow Tim’s lead and apply for this esteemed designation.”

Pearson is President of First Dakota Title in Bismarck, N.D., and has more than 30 years of experience in the land title insurance industry. He frequently speaks at real estate industry events for lenders and realtors and serves on ALTA’s Government Affairs Committee and Research Committee. He is a past member of the Bismarck Board of Realtors and is a member of the North Dakota Land Title Association (NDLTA).

Pearson is the second NTP designee from North Dakota. A full directory of National Title Professionals is available here.

The designation has several elements, including industry and compliance prerequisites and training requirements. To apply for the NTP designation and for more information, please visit ALTA's NTP website.
