First American Title Insurance Company announced on October 6, 2008 that Steven Presti has been promoted to direct operations manager for Texas. Presti joined First American in 1989 as a sales representative for the company's office in Austin, Texas, then was promoted to assistant vice president and sales manager a year later.

After leaving First American in 1995, he went to work for another large national title insurer, where he served as division president for that company's operations in Austin and the Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolitan area.

Presti was also the senior on-site manager for a regional office that operated the joint title plants for several national title insurers. He returned to First American in 2007, when he accepted his most recent position as president and division manager for First American's Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolitan area.

A local chapter president, Texas state district vice president and national governor for the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR), Presti also has earned the prestigious WCR Leadership Training Graduate designation. He is the past president of the Tarrant County Title Association and also has been recognized as an affiliate of the year for the Austin Board of Realtors.
